The National Gallery of Portraits is located in Sector 17, behind Central Library adjoining to Estate Office, Chandigarh. The Gallery displays the photos and document panels which have been collected from the known historical research organizations, institutions and archives of India. It also houses the panels supported by the oil paintings of portraits, metal and plaster cast sculptures of selected freedom fighters, murals and dioramas.
