Shimla, the Queen of Hills, is the Capital of Himachal Pradesh, in North India . It is the beautiful place to visit.  It has a rare range of heritage buildings surrounded by thick forests of pine, Himalayan oak and deodar tree etc. In summer people from various parts of India visit Shimla to get relief from scorching heat and in winter came here to enjoy the snow fall.

It is also the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway. It is also known for the handicraft shops  which are at The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts.
