Manali is a very important Tourist Place of Himachal Pradesh. It has enchanting scenic beauty and tourist attractions. It is located against the backdrop of snow clad mountains and provides every thing which a tourist desires. From ancient temples to picturesque sight seeing spots and adventure activities, Manali is a popular Tourist spot for all seasons.
Attractions:: Van Vihar, Vashisht Temple and hot springs, Hadimba Devi Temple, Open Tree Ghatotkachh Temple and Manu Temple etc.
Location:Manali is located in District Kullu of Himachal Pradesh.
HOW TO REACH: By Air– for visiting Manali, Tourist can use Airways upto Bhuntar, which is approx.. 10 K.Ms from Kullu, from where Tourists can use Buses/Taxis to reach Manali. Bhuntar is connected with Delhi and Shimla. The nearest Railway Station is Jogindernagar. However, for people travelling from Delhi, it is more convenient to alight at Ropar, Una or Nangal and cover the remaining distance by road .By Road, there are direct buses from Delhi, Chandigarh and Shimla and some parts of Punjab and Haryana. By Road/Car Tourist may follow the route: Chandigarh-Ropar-Kiratpur Sahib-Swar Ghat-Bilaspur-Sunder Nagar-Mandi-Pandoh- Bhunter-Kullu-Manali.
Distance: Manali is Approx. 320 K.Ms from Chandigarh, 40 K.Ms from Kullu and 570 K.Ms from New Delhi.
Accommodation: Sufficient accommodation managed by Himachal Tourism Development Corporation and Private hoteliers is available.
